So I zoomed in on and traced the dragon to
flush out the design.
What i ended up doing is totally redesigning the
dragon and adding more action.
The previous books were completely out of
scale. I used the alchemist’s head a basis for the size of each book. From the
viewers distance the books will just look like scales on the dragon.
I’m
cool with that, it lent me to get more “realistic” with dragon and add the
floating books that were mentioned by a few.
The wings will be made of
the dragons ethereal glow. that’s right…magic glowing wings.
I wanted
him to look cute and not threatening so i gave him huge eye balls and no
fang.
…it took a while to figuring this all out every night but it’s
worth it
