Sunday’s Painting PSA #2 Spend a few mins on a some colour studies and save yourself hours. before i even begin my final line drawing I’ll scan in my rough sketch and print it out a few times on paper. My first colour study is usually the colour scheme i have in my head. Sometimes my first attempt will work but often it doesn’t I then take a few more wacks at it until I have a stonger idea about where i want to go with my final painting. This is all very quick and you can have fun experimenting with a colour wheel without the worry of botching a painting.
