Since the DC reboot debacle I've been nervous...
I haven’t had much experience in the area but if i want to create more characters it’s something to keep in mind. I let current runway/street fashion–and a bit of history– influence how i design Hadley eg McQueen, Louis Vuitton I think the biggest issue i saw discussed were impracticalities of DC’s female costumes; they look like underwear. Good art doesn't come easy.
Sometimes you gotta strip down to your drawers and have your wife photograph you while you pretend you’re a dragon.

How my mom raised a geek
Just got off the phone with my mom where she complained about retcon and continuity issues with comic book films. She also went on a 5 min rant about how she agrees that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is hot but she’s MUCH more of a Megan Fox girl because she wants her action movie chicks to look like they can kick butt. AND THAT ladies and gentlemen is how you raise a geek!

Anonymous asked: What advice do you have for a guy who has been leading a life drawing work shop for about a year an half, who feels as though he is drifting along in this sea of creativity, wondering where I'm headed. If I'll ever see land - land meaning my style, success, or even a goal other than to just do. My passion is still there, but I am wondering where I am to go with this drawing talent.

Anonymous asked: There is this white pencil I see both you and Donato using at the beginnings of your painting process, which seems to be okay to use with oils. What is it? Is it an oil pastel pencil? White charcoal perhaps?
